How do I choose an alternate platform, media type, or version of the product I wish to purchase?
Many of the products Logisoft offers for purchase come in a variety of software platforms, media types, colors, and versions. If the product has additional versions to choose from, there will be a drop down menu box on the product page. Simply click on the arrow in the menu box and choose the version and platform you would like to purchase by clicking on it. When the correct version and platform is displayed, click on the "Add to Cart" button to purchase.

Who is qualified to purchase product?
Enrolled K-12 and Higher Ed students, current faculty/staff members, academic institutions, and some non profit organizations qualify for academic priced products. We also carry non-academic products, which are available to anyone. Academic products are tagged in the product description and on every product page we have spelled out the eligibility rules and define the purchasing requirements. Payment Methods
Purchase Orders
This is the preferred payment method for our academic and corporate organizations. If you choose to pay any invoice over $2000 with a credit card or procurement card, a 3% processing fee will be charged.
Fast Order/Requisitions
Payment vehicles from departments of schools (subject to verification by Logisoft).
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and JBC and Procurement card- any charge over $2000 will incur a 3% processing fee.
Because we drop ship your order, you will be billed at the time your order is placed.
Please make sure the billing address on your order matches the billing address on your credit card.
We accept checks
The check must be received AND cleared before we can ship your order.

My credit card payment was declined. What can I do?
For proper credit card verification, the billing address on your order must match the billing address on your credit card. Please make sure that your name and address appears exactly the same as the name on your credit card billing statement. Corporate card orders must also use the name of the cardholder in the billing address, and not the purchaser, in order to process the order successfully. If you continue to have problems, please contact Customer Service.

What happens after you place an order?
You will receive an order confirmation stating that your order is being processed. If academic or nonprofit verification is required then you will have an option to submit documentation at the check out process or receive an email requesting that information and we will provide you instructions on how and where to submit. Once your academic document has been reviewed and verified, an email will be sent confirming that your order has been released for processing. You should make sure you set your email setting to accept emails from Logisoft.com otherwise notifications could end up in your spam mailbox.

How do you send in academic or nonprofit verification?
Once you have completed placing an order and obtained your order number, send proof of your academic eligibility or 501(c)3 to Logisoft. Fax 800.332.7877  or email directly to eduverify@logisoft.com. Be sure to reference your order number on it so that we can match it to the correct account to ensure speedy shipping.

How long does it take to receive an order?
Orders will be processed within 24 hours Monday through Friday before 4:00 eastern. Pending eligibility verification, most orders will ship with in 3 to 5 business days. Delays in shipment will be communicated to you via email. To learn more about shipping, click here for Shipping Rates

How do you check your order status?
You may view your order status on our website 24/7. You will receive an order confirmation which will have a link to Order Status. You can check to see the status of your order there or contact us at 888.564.4763 ext. 154. Order progressions or delay issues are communicated by email to the email address provided on your account. Return & Exchange Policies
Some products qualify for return/exchange within 30 days of receipt. To return or exchange qualifying products, you must call 888-564-4763 ext. 153 within 30 days of receiving the product for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number.
Shipping
Repack the product in a secure shipping box, and ship the product back to us via DHL, UPS, FedEx, or US Mail to Logisoft at 6605 Pittsford-Palmyra Rd., Suite E1, Fairport, NY 14450, Attention: Returns and include the RMA number on the shipping label. For your protection, we strongly recommend that you insure the package in case the shipment is damaged or lost in transit. We cannot process returns for items lost or damaged in transit. Logisoft must receive the returned product within 15 days of the issuance of the RMA number.
Restocking Fee
A restocking fee of 15% or $50 (whichever is less) will be charged for any returns or exchanges made that were not a result of our error.
Return authorization is subject to the following conditions:
Products must be in a resalable condition - undamaged and unmarked, including all documentation and packaging. Software must be sealed and unopened in unmarked and resellable condition.
The product cannot be registered with the manufacturer.
Logisoft will not accept returns for Avid, Credo Interactive, Maxon, Newtek, Propellerhead, Quark, and SolidWorks products.
Adobe and Microsoft Student and Teacher Licensing is NOT returnable.
ESD (electronic software download) versions of software are not returnable under any circumstance.
Logisoft will not accept any return of products that the manufacturer of the products will not accept.
Logisoft retains discretion to deny any damaged returned product.
Customer pays return shipping fees.
If the product is returned in acceptable condition, Logisoft will refund the purchase price of the returned product, less a 15% restocking fee.
Logisoft will not refund shipping and handling charges unless the return is a result of our error.
Clearance items are non-returnable.

Canceling Your Order
Orders placed via our online store cannot be canceled online. To cancel orders, please call 888-564-4763 ext. 153 or email purchasing@logisoft.com. Once you order from our online store, we start working on it right away. For that reason, it's possible -- depending on how much time has elapsed since you placed your order -- that we've already shipped the product to you. In that case, you may need to return it to us. (See our return policy above).

About Logisoft Prices
All pricing is subject to change. Logisoft can not confirm the price of an item until you order; however, we do NOT charge your credit card until after your order has entered the shipping process. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalog may be mispriced. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
For all prices, products, and offers, Logisoft reserves the right to make adjustments due to changing market conditions, product discontinuation, manufacturer price changes, errors in advertisements, and other extenuating circumstances. High volume bids are welcome!

Purchase your software now and if you see a lower advertised price of that same exact item (including our own sale prices) within 30 days of your purchase, we'll refund the difference (licenses excluded). Refunds are usually processed within 48 hours (Monday - Friday) of price verification. Refunds cannot be offered on closeouts or loss leader pricing. This policy applies only to advertised prices and does not apply to special offers, rebate promotions, or free-with-purchase offers. Logisoft reserves the right not to sell products below our cost.

Discount codes are referred to in 2 ways:
1. Advertised throughout the year in our online and print campaigns, offering additional discounts or free shipping. You will enter the discount, promotional, or coupon code advertised on your marketing notification in the Discount Code box at the checkout process to receive the discount.
2. Logisoft works with K-12 & HED Organizations that have been awarded special pricing.
  Student and Faculty sites do NOT require a discount code as the prices already reflect the savings.
  Schools or consortia that qualify for additional discounts would apply a specific code in the discount field to receive the extra savings. To receive your code you should contact your account representative.

What is the difference between the products offered on this website and the commercial versions of these products?

Nothing. The products sold here are functionally identical to the commercial versions. The vendors extend special pricing for educational and nonprofit customers. As a qualified educational or nonprofit customer, you are eligible to purchase software at a discount price. As a student, you are eligible to purchase one copy of each software at educational discounts. Some software titles such as AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, and Quickbooks are functionally identical to the commercial versions but have been specially designed for educational use making them unsuitable for a professional use.

Is the software purchased on this site a legal, licensed copy?

Yes. We are an authorized educational/nonprofit retailer for the products on our website. Once you register your software, you will be in full compliance with software copyright regulations.

How do I receive my free upgrade?
If you purchased a product from Logisoft that qualifies for a free upgrade, contact the appropriate manufacturer directly. For Adobe products call 800-833-6687 to receive your free upgrade. You will be required to show proof of payment. You can contact us at 888-564-4763 ext. 154 for a copy, if needed. We also post upgrade information on the Message Center of our site.

 

How many times can I install my software?

Most products are single license installations for one machine. Some products have permissions to install on more than 1 machine. In most cases your product documentation will tell you how many installs are allowed or it will be posted in the product descriptions on our site.

 

Can I still use the software that I have purchased after I am no longer a student?

Yes. As long as you purchased the product during the time you were qualified as a student/faculty then you have a legal license copy and can continue to use the software after you leave school.

 

How many installations are allowed with Adobe student licensing products?

Student Licensing secondary use rights are defined in the EULA of each product. The standard portable or home use language allows the user to install the product twice - on their primary desktop computer and on a portable computer for use by the same person, not at the same time. What do I receive when purchasing Adobe student licensing products?

You will receive a DVD and a separate piece of paper under the cover with instructions to visit a dedicated Adobe URL to locate your serial number. You will need to enter the 26 digit code found on the piece of paper to access your serial number.

 

What if I lost/broke my Adobe software CD/DVD and I need to reinstall the software?

Adobe offers media replacement program on the current and one previous version for a $25 cost. Contact Adobe Customer service 800-833-6687 to request a lost media replacement.
